I am a SUPER mom to an amazing young man! I feel I am relatable on many aspects. I grew up being a military kid and was raised by my Nanna (RIP ✊🏽) in Southeast Washington, DC and all over the US, by my Mom (SgtMajor Mom USMC retired). Two Movers and Shakers in their own right... Google them! Literally! I have some big shoes to fill! Lydia's House, Living Word Church, and USMC are very much a part of my core values.

I graduated from North Carolina A&T State University (💙💛💙💛 Aggie Pride) with a degree in Business Management. I graduated from Archbishop Carroll High School in Washington, DC.

I moved to New Braunfels, TX in the beginning of the 2020 Pandemic. I was working remotely, sold EVERYTHING I own with the anticipation of moving into a smaller place in Baltimore, MD. I was determined to save some money and get back on my feet. Bouncing back from a relationship, I was broken and discouraged trying to reset!

 

I was SUPPOSED to stay in Texas for TWO WEEKS due to some construction issues in my new spot! So I packed what I could in my car and I arrived May 17, 2020. I have been saying I would move to Texas for over a decade! So the timing felt right! I needed to stay! What did I have to lose? I had recently cut off ALL of my friends in pursuit of my Higher Self. 

 

I wanted to get out and try new things in Texas BUT I was finding it hard. Mostly because I had SOCIAL ANXIETY. I found it difficult to talk to people in general. I posted on a facebook group to see if anyone wanted to go to brunch with me. Well, let me tell you… Courtney, Abigael, Koko, and Marquis (my sister) changed my life!! We went to Nola Brunch in San Antonio, Texas and had a great time. We played games, drank some mimosas and took a group photo.

I shared the group photo of us at brunch and asked would anyone be interested and literally had such a huge response that I had to create a Google Form to try and capture all the contact info!

 

In an attempt to honor how I started… my email list will ALWAYS be the VIP Brunch Baes! They get the links to new events FIRST; then I reach out to the rest of social media. I have worked with local small business owners to do giveaways and raffles and guess who hears about that exclusively…. that’s right.. the email list! So sign up and get connected!
